Abstract
The article examines the meaning of the organizational structure of the enterprise from the standpoint of the theory and practice of management of production. The allocation of control functions that are attributable to the «competence» of the organizational structure, the concretization of the actions control laws enriches the theory of management. Changing the structure of current medical-technical enterprise for its 20-year period of work clearly demonstrates the connection of structural transformations with output growth and an increase of assortment of products, as well as with changes in market conditions of economic management under the influence of the crisis phenomena in the economy. The article will be useful for students, teachers, managers of production.
