The histological diagnosis plays a crucial role for treatment of patients with this pathology, especially, for cases of tumors with uncertain malignancy such as atypical cartilaginous tumor / chondrosarcoma grade I. There is no description of a unified concept of morphological diagnosis of atypical cartilaginous tumor / chondrosarcoma grade I with cranial localization in the current medical literature today. In this article we tried to reflect the actual state of the problem and emphasize the relevance of standardization of criteria for the histological assessment of cranial chondroid tumors.</p>
В данной статье мы постарались отразить состояние проблемы на сегодняшний день и подчеркнуть актуальность стандартизации критериев для гистологической оценки краниальных хондроидных опухолей.</p></trans-abstract><kwd-group xml:lang="en"><kwd>morphological diagnosis</kwd><kwd>chondrosarcoma</kwd><kwd>chondroma</kwd><kwd>chordoma</kwd><kwd>tumors of skull base</kwd><kwd>morphological criteria</kwd><kwd>chondroid tumors</kwd></kwd-group><kwd-group xml:lang="ru"><kwd>морфологическая диагностика</kwd><kwd>хондросаркома</kwd><kwd>хондрома</kwd><kwd>хордома</kwd><kwd>опухоли костей черепа</kwd><kwd>хондроидные опухоли</kwd></kwd-group><funding-group/></article-meta></front><body></body><back><ref-list><ref id="B1"><label>1.</label><mixed-citation>Bloch O.G., Jian B.J., Yang I. et al.
