Patients of the main group (49 patients) received daily ultrasound examinations of the inferior vena cava, and iliac veins of the lower extremities. Patients in the control group (35 patients) ultrasound examinations were performed only in cases of clinical symptoms of venous thrombosis. The clinical manifestations of thrombosis have been studied in patients of both groups.<italic>Results. </italic>The coincidence of the clinical manifestations of thrombosis and results of ultrasound diagnosis of thrombosis was 34% of cases. Ultrasonic studies of the dynamics conducted in patients of the main group, revealed embologenic asymptomatic venous thrombosis in 11 patients. Prevention of pulmonary embolism, based on the results of ultrasound, allowed to prevent the development of venous thromboembolism in patients of the main group.<italic>Conclusion. </italic>Systematic ultrasound of inferior vena cava, and iliac veins of the lower extremities, performed during the special treatment of malignant tumors of bone and soft tissues, can detect embologenic thrombosis and contribute to the implementation of effective prevention of venous thromboembolism.</p></abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="ru"><p><italic>Цель. </italic>Оптимизация диагностики эмбологенных венозных тромбозов и целенаправленного выбора мер профилактики венозной тромбоэмболии у пациентов со злокачественными опухолями костей и мягких тканей.<italic>Материалы и методы. </italic>Наблюдались и были обследованы 84 пациента с саркомами костей и мягких тканей, которым проводилось хирургическое лечение. Пациентам основной группы (49 пациентов) ежедневно проводили УЗИ нижней полой вены, подвздошных вен и вен нижних конечностей. Пациентам контрольной группы (35 пациентов) УЗИ проводилось только в случаях проявлений клинических симптомов венозных тромбозов. Клинические проявления тромбозов изучались у пациентов обеих групп.<italic>Результаты. </italic>Совпадение клинических проявлений тромбозов и результатов ультразвуковой диагностики тромбозов было в 34% случаев. Ультразвуковые исследования в динамике, проведенные у пациентов основной группы, выявили бессимптомные эмбологенные венозные тромбозы у 11 пациентов. Профилактика тромбоэмболии легочной артерии с учетом результатов ультразвуковых исследований позволила предотвратить развитие венозной тромбоэмболии у пациентов основной группы.<italic>Заключение. </italic>Систематизированные ультразвуковые исследования нижней полой вены, подвздошных вен и вен нижних конечностей, выполняемые в период проведения специального лечения злокачественных новообразований костей и мягких тканей, позволяют выявить эмбологенные тромбозы и способствуют проведению эффективной профилактики венозной тромбоэмболии.</p></trans-abstract><kwd-group xml:lang="en"><kwd>venous thrombosis</kwd><kwd>embologenic</kwd><kwd>venous thromboembolism</kwd></kwd-group><kwd-group xml:lang="ru"><kwd>венозный тромбоз</kwd><kwd>эмбологенность</kwd><kwd>венозная тромбоэмболия</kwd></kwd-group><funding-group/></article-meta></front><body></body><back><ref-list><ref id="B1"><label>1.</label><citation-alternatives><mixed-citation xml:lang="en">1.
